On the Imperial Road
In the course of the route program “Along the Imperial Road”, the tourists are offered to make a journey around the historical places and roads related to the fate of emperors and outstanding persons of the Russian Empire.
The traveller is offered to visit the elegant stone church of Holy Apostles Peter and Paul, built in 1867 in the Town of Lyuban – the only railway temple in Russia devoted to builders of Nikolaevskaya Railway constructed by order of the Emperor Nicholas I. The Railway Station Building of the Town of Lyuban opened in 1851 is situated nearby.
The trip to “Maryino” estate of the nobility in Andrianovo Village will acquaint the travellers with the magnificent beauty of the estate ensemble of XIX century which was a patrimony of the well-known family of the Stroganov Golitsyns, associates of Russian emperors, it will carry them to the atmosphere of everyday life of the nobility, its luxury and richness.
